# tl;dr
I'm a software engineer based in Gujarat, India. I have a varied experience of diving into system architectures, devops, blockchain systems and website development.

I mainly work with TypeScript & Rust, building systems end-to-end.
I am fond of reading, music and learning by experimenting.
Currently, I am focused on building scalable systems, and looking to contribute to strong a company/startup.
# Genesis
i was born in a town near Jamnagar, Gujarat.

my old photo

so it all started with me, left alone with a pc in the corner of my room that my dad randomly brought home. since then, i've been tinkering with technology. as any child with a pc, i also tried to install that "grand-theft-auto-vice-city.iso", using lucky patcher and many more things from not-so-public websites and i felt like i was on cloud nine.

from then on, i started to explore each and every application in the pc, and the internet (i wish i had bought BTC back then 🤫). i even started tinkering with hardware (which i pretty soon realised was not for me after i failed to differentiate between a ram and hard disk)

then one day, i started wondering how things actually work on a pc and my life has changed forever. i learnt about the hardware, BASIC language and wrote my first hello world at 11 y/o. during this time, music was a major part of my life. i pursued Indian classical music and learned keyboard through Trinity College London. It taught me discipline, structure, and patience, lessons that quietly carried over into how i approach technology.

at around 15 y/o, i learnt basic html/css + tailwind through which i made my first production website, it was for my dad's firm. it still counts.

during lockdown i was more into windows optimization and automations. but more majorly i combined my two interests, music & computers. i learnt Music Production, navigating DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and even published my first songs on Spotify, Apple Music and many other platforms (they were early experiments, but they taught me a lot :p) i was quite passionate, but with no intention to pursue computers as a full-time thing. i wanted to become a Music Producer.

when i saw the path and talked to a few individuals, i got "scope nahi hai" so i moved towards my other interest, computers & tech.
# Metamorphosis
being in an engineering college in India is one rollercoaster of an experience. you don't get to learn how to actually build things and implement your knowledge, everything except that...

so when i joined college, given the market being already tough (with the new found use of AI in coding) i knew that i wouldn't survive if i just "went with the flow". so i learned devops, blockchain and took part in hackathons. hackathons for me were not just about building an MVP, but much more than that.

although i was part of the multiple college clubs since my first year, but in my second year, i got introduced to a few communities around the city and beyond and that is the best decision i made. i got connected with people who actually know what they are doing. being around people who were actively building, shipping, and thinking deeply raised my standards drastically. i am active in my college tech clubs and solana global communities, till date.

since then, I've got the chance to organise multiple hackathons, workshops & even be a mentor in a hackathon. i've always been stoked about helping people and sharing my knowledge (whatever little i know) and this allowed me to do exactly that.

in order to actually help people, i started freelancing around this time. it gave me exposure to real world constraints, timelines and the responsibility of shipping production systems. it was a different kind of learning compared to college or hackathons, and it helped me understand how engineering decisions actually impact people.
# Trajectory
today, i keep on building side projects, tools and small utilities, often to automate my own workflows or to explore any idea.

i enjoy understanding systems end to end, breaking them apart, and putting them back together in simpler, better ways.

i am currently focused on building scalable systems, contributing to strong teams and growing with people who don't just want to build, but provide real value.
